Using feng shui prosperity tips is just one way to help you attract abundance and prosperity into your life.
Feng shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement, where you arrange your environment to enhance your life. Based on the belief (which is supported by modern quantum physics) that everything is energy, feng shui seeks to balance the energy (“chi”) in your environment in a way that helps you attract desirable people and opportunities into your life.
In other words, your environment can either support you or drain you. For the most supportive environment, you want to remove blockages and enhance the natural flow of energy.
The following feng shui tips can support you in creating prosperity and balance in your life.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 1:
Clear The Clutter
Clutter is anything unfinished, unused, unresolved, just tolerated, or disorganized. Clutter is stagnant energy that leaves no room for growth. Saving things because “someday you might need them” demonstrates a lack of belief in the energy flow that brings abundance to you. Clearing clutter creates space for new things and increases your energy and creativity.
Go through your home or office closet-by-closet and drawer-by-drawer and either throw away, give away, or sell everything that you either do not need, do not use, or do not love. Be sure to clean out filing cabinets regularly and keep desktops and counters clutter free.
Clearing clutter extends to your computer, especially if you use it for work. Is your inbox filled with hundreds of e-mails? Create folders to file e-mails you want to refer to. Go through your folders regularly to delete e-mails you no longer need. Empty your trash folder regularly. Delete unused shortcuts from your computer’s desktop and unused programs from the computer.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 2:
Place Your Desk In the Power Position
In your home or office, the ideal placement for your computer and desk is where you can see the door (but not directly in front of the door) of the room. If you cannot see the door, place a mirror that gives you a clear view of the door.
Also, make sure everything at your desk lets you be comfortable. A good glare screen/radiation filter to prevent headaches and eyestrain, a comfortable chair that doesn’t squeak, comfortable keyboard and arm position, a mouse that fits your hand, and so forth. Anything that causes you discomfort drains your energy.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 3:
Enhance Your Prosperity Corner
As you enter a room, the far left corner is your wealth and prosperity area. What do you have in that area? Clutter adveresely affects your prosperity.
Water is a universal symbol of abundance, so an aquarium, water fountain, or even a picture of a waterfall is appropriate. You could also have a valuable item, an affirmation, or colors that represent prosperity (royal blues, purples, and red/green combinations). Choose something that makes you feel prosperous.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 4:
Create a Nourishing View
What do you see when you look up from your desk? If you see a brick wall, maybe that’s why you feel stuck. Paint the wall a color you love or hang a favorite painting or poster. Make sure what you see uplifts you and nourishes your creativity.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 5:
Clean and Repair
Regularly cleaning your space keeps the energy fresh. Also, repair or replace broken objects; anything that doesn’t work blocks the flow of energy.
Feng Shui Prosperity Tip 6:
Buy a Healthy Plant
Plants bring life into a space and also absorb toxins in the air. Plants with round leaves (like coins) are considered especially good for attracting prosperity.
Use feng shui enhancements to create a flow of prosperity, energy, and creativity in your life. Remember, your space has to feel good to you, so follow your instincts. Consciously creating your environment can support you in reaching your potential.
